We think by now, most of you get what Straggler is. It’s a madly versatile bike that can be used for most types of riding and riding surfaces. Better still is that you now have the option of 650b wheel size. 650b wheels were popular for a long time many years ago on ‘Constructeur’ style bicycles and we all know how real stuff was back in the day…650b wheels strike a nice balance between the benefits of both 26” and 700c sizes. The smaller wheel allows smaller riders to fit well on smaller frames, produces a stronger wheel, makes fitting big-ass tires easier and are more agile than their larger counterparts.
Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. It’ll accept rotors up to 160mm. The rear dropouts are unique, too. They’re a partially closed horizontal design that accommodates singlespeed or geared drivetrains. They feature stop screws that thread in from the rear to further secure the wheel and to position the rear wheel for optimal shifting, plus a forward-mounted stop screw on the drive side to keep the wheel from slipping forward under the force of your gargantuan legs. The rear dropouts are spaced 135mm instead of 132.5mm like the Cross-Check simply because there are far more options for disc hubs in this spacing.
Straggler 650b has braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it’s ready to take you just about anywhere. It’s a day tripper and a weekender. It’s a ‘rough road’ road bike. It’s a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing. It’s a utilitarian townie. It’s a light-duty touring bike. It’s an all-weather commuter. And when you get tired of one set up, you can swap parts around and turn it into something else. We think that’s pretty neat.

Steel Commuter and Gravel Bike
Preamble is a hard-boiled steel commuter built for comfort, durability, and buffoonery on pavement and gravel.

Smooth and efficient on asphalt, Preamble's double-butted main triangle provides a resplendent ride feel and withstands abuse from life's inevitable potholes. The Rambler continues a fine tradition in cycling, the drop bar all-arounder. It's capable of gravel centuries, quick road loops, light touring, b-roads, and of course daily life. The Rambler is a fully modern adaptation of the genre with disc brakes, thru axles and generous tire clearance. The world is vast and so are the possibilities, the Rambler invites you to fully explore them all.
It has all the mounts a rider could want and geometry that is nimble while still being comfortable for long days in the saddle. As with all Wilde's we prefer bikes with higher stack heights, as our philosophy is that comfortable is fast.
Being a production bike, we are able to offer this promise at a more affordable price point through our partnership with Taiwan's legendary Maxway factory. It comes in four sizes and is paired with our segmented steel fork.
The steel fork does have a slightly longer axle to crown measurement than the Wayfinder which gives the bike a bit higher trail number and a slightly elevated bottom bracket height, both are bonuses when it comes to riding more challenging off-road terrain or pairing with 650b size wheels.

Straggler is a bikepacking-inspired road/gravel bike mostly at home on pavement but ready for trail duty when called.
Born on Gravel. Raised on Pavement
Straggler is tuned for cross-over exploration on a wide variety of terrain conditions. It's a day-tripper and a weekender. It's a "rough road" road bike, a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing, a utilitarian townie, a light-duty touring bike and an all-weather commuter. It's a steel gravel bicycle that thrives on the road. Think of it as a "mountain biker's road bike." If you only have room for one bike in your life, Straggler can (and should) be your one and only.
Straggler's capabilities go well beyond asphalt. It also lends itself well to light touring setups. We're talking frame bags, seat bags, and "credit card touring" rather than full-blown touring. Straggler also handles our 8- and 24-Pack Racks well, so you have some heavier-duty loading options.
- Accommodations for racks and fenders
- Forward-exiting horizontal dropouts for singlespeed compatibility and wheelbase adjustability
- Clearance for 700c x 41mm tires with fenders!

As with all Wilde's, we build our bikes with higher stack heights and believe that when it comes to long distance pursuits, such as gravel, that comfortable is fast.
Being a production bike, we are able to offer the Rambler SL at a more affordable price through our partnership with Taiwan's legendary Maxway factory. It comes in four sizes and this SL (Super Light) version is paired with our Wayfinder carbon fork.

A steel utility vehicle designed for fully loaded exploration, whether across town or across the country.
A Versatile All-Season Commuter Bike
If you're like us, your bike needs likely change by the day, week, month, or year. Quite the adaptable little beast, Ogre can get you to your job during the week, then way out of town on the weekend. It's not sluggish on pavement or gravel and can also hold its own on singletrack.
Ogre is designed to be the ultimate steel utility vehicle. It relishes in those “take-the-long-way-home-and-find-some-beverages-along-the-way" sort of commutes. Snow, sleet, or sweltering humidity, this is an ideal year-round commuter bike. You can also haul enough crap on it that you don't even have to go home if you don't want to.
- All the barnacles you could ever possibly ask for including rack and fender, multiple three-pack mounts, and mid-blade.
- Gnot-Boost rear spacing with Rohloff torque arm slot and Bill/Ted trailer mount

- Clearance for 650B x 41mm tires with fenders!
$1,699.00

It's a 'rough road' road bike. It's a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing. It's a utilitarian townie. It's a light-duty touring bike. It's an all-weather commuter. And when you get tired of one set up, you can swap parts around and turn it into something else.

Stormchaser is our single-speed gravel bike designed to prevail through bad weather and drivetrain-crunching conditions. The 6066-T6 alloy frame features our Class 5 VRS (vibration reduction system) for comfort and composure on harsh roads. The compliant carbon fork comes with extra tire clearance and protection plates to prevent wear from muddy tires. Alternator Flat Mount dropouts allow for solid single-speed setups or 1x drivetrains (with geared dropout plate, sold separately). Frame and fork mounts make it easy to carry extra food and water on long rides, while the rack and fender mounts add a layer of versatility. Stormchaser is a trusty partner for single speed enthusiasts or gravel riders who saddle up no matter what.
Key Features:
- On-bike Storage: Carry more on your bike and less on your body. Our frames and forks feature mounts for extra bottles, camping gear, and ride accessories.

Open WI.DE (Winding Detours) - Monster Tires, Nimble Ride
The biggest tire clearance gravel bike we make at 2.4” wide, still with road geometry & parts to combine speed with go-anywhere capabilities. Ideal for the toughest singletrack and roads. The monster tires help you conquer the most extreme terrain. The performance geometry & narrow Q-factor keep you efficient. The steering geometry keeps you nimble.
In the box: Frame, U-Turn fork, headset, seat tube collar, front & rear Carbon-Ti thru-axle, 2 RD hangers, 3 MultiStops (1x, Di2, eTap), chainstay cable exit, noise-reduction foam sleeves, manual.
Frame colors come in Orange, Turquoise, matte/gloss Grey, Brown and unpainted.
Speed & Handling
Thanks to its efficient rider position, the WI.DE. is deceptively fast on-road despite its big tires. This always surprises test riders. Great fun on-road and no limits off-road.
Equally important is the handling. The WI.DE. retains its agility with anything from massive mountain tires to road tires. Trigonometry helps us a bit here, as the trail automatically grows together with the tire size, just like you want for tougher terrain.
- With 650b gravel or 27.5" mountain bike tires up to 2.4”(61mm), rutted singletrack, slippery roots and rocks disappear.
- With 700c gravel tires up to 46mm, even the toughest gravel roads are tackled at lightning speed
- Assembled with 700c road tires (we recommend 35-40mm wide), you have the most comfortable road bike ever invented
- The U.P.'s dropped right chainstay launched a whole category of bikes. The WI.DE. doubles up. The double-drop chainstays create a very efficient box-shape behind the BB. This increases stiffness, reduces weight and boosts tire clearance.
- 1x cranks eliminate the inner ring and front derailleur that limit tire clearance. Most of our customers run a classic 1x setup with 12-sp or 13-sp cassette. But you can also go 2x using the Classified system: light, fast, very efficient and clean.
- Every bike company has access to the same carbon. Compared to industries like aviation, carbon volume for bikes is too small for custom or exclusive. So all those different names for proprietary carbon are just that, names.
- What matters: high-modulus carbon is stiff but brittle, low modulus carbon is more flexible but tougher. You need stiff and tough, so the best layup is a blend and the ratio depends on what is most important in each area of the frame.
- In some areas (main tubes for example), the blend has more high modulus (and even ultra-high modulus) carbon. Other areas (headtube for example) use more of the tough carbon. That’s how our frames are both light and durable.
- Wire-Stays: Vertically thin chainstays and seatstays provide compliance, while their lateral width and layup ensure rock-solid propulsion. Truly the best of both worlds.
- Flat-Out Downtube: The downtube drives stiffness, connecting your steering center to your drivetrain. The flat sides places strips of ultra-high modulus carbon where it matters most.
- Zero-Setback Seattube: A zero-offset seatpost is lighter & more efficient, so we have designed our seattube angle such that most riders can use a zero-offset rather than an off-set seatpost.
- Internal Routing: Internal cables & hoses through the frame stay clean & protected and frankly, they look better. In the cockpit they are exposed for easy maintenance.
