It was named after Arctodus simus, an Ice Age behemoth that was the biggest bear to ever walk the Earth. As a massive bear itself, Arctodus Ti doesn’t worry about covering vast distances in changing conditions. It has a lightweight titanium frame, a large front triangle for lots of cargo, and adjustable geometry that was designed for flotation and control in deep snow. There’s a fine line between an adventure and an expedition. You’ll have a hard time finding a 26” or 27.5” fat bike tire that doesn’t fit in the Arctodus Ti frame. That’s because this bike fits the biggest fat bike tires on the market: 26” x 5.05” and 27.5” x 4.5”. In fact, Arctodus Ti is the only fat bike with this narrow of a bottom bracket to clear tires this big with a 12-speed drivetrain. We achieve this by using a 5mm offset on the rear wheel. A big bear needs big paws, after all. ADJUSTABLE GEOMETRY A key feature in all Otso bikes is adjustable geometry and the ability to adapt the bike for the ride ahead. The patented Tuning Chip rear dropout system can change wheelbase length by up to 20mm, raise or lower the bottom bracket height by up to 4mm, and change the head tube angle by +/- 0.5º. Use the rear position when the trails are loose and you need as much control as you can get. Use the front position when the snow is firm and the trails let you take turns with a little speed. Timberjack is Salsa's aggressive trail hardtail. Its progressive trail geometry is stable on descents and technical sections, while the Alternator 2.0 dropouts allow for adjustable chainstay length to dial in ride characteristics. Ample accessory mounts and dual wheel size compatibility add more versatility to the package, making Timberjack a well-rounded ripper that likes to party.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Our signature drop-bar bikepacking frameset built with big miles and big plans in mind. A true go-anywhere, do-anything machine, if you can conceive it you can achieve it aboard the Dream Engine.  The Dream Engine is hand built in the USA and designed for Tour Divide racing, back country exploration, fire roads and single track excursions. Of course it can also crush gravel and tour as well.  It fits a very large tire, has boatloads of mud clearance, and was built with all-day and multi-day comfort in mind.  You’ll find a full suite of features that include: - Three pack mounts on top and bottom of the down tube, bottle mount on the seat tube, top tube bag mounts, rack and fender mounts. - The frame is built around the Salsa Cutthroat fork which has three-pack mounts on each leg and internal dynamo and brake routing. - For cable management, we’ve chosen to use Paragon’s modular system which allows the cleanest possible appearance and can be customized for AXS or 1X mountain setups.  - Clearance for 29x2.6" tires.  GEOMETRY Drop bar off-road geometry designed to be nimble in the tight stuff and carry a load with stability and confidence. The generous stack, and longer wheelbase provide comfort and stability when riding all day or descending on loose terrain.
