The Dream Engine is hand built in the USA and designed for the Tour Divide, back country exploration, fire roads and single track excursions. Of course it can also crush gravel and tour as well. It fits a very large tire has boatloads of mud clearance and was built with all-day and multi-day comfort in mind. You’ll find a full suite of features that include: - Three pack mounts on top and bottom of the down tube, bottle mount on the seat tube, top tube bag mounts, rack and fender mounts. - The frame is built around the Salsa Cutthroat fork which has three-pack mounts on each leg and internal dynamo and brake routing. - For cable management, we’ve chosen to use Paragon’s modular system which allows the cleanest possible appearance and can be customized for AXS or 1X mountain setups. We use full-round cable guides on the stays as we find plastic zip ties on high-end bikes to be an inelegant compromise. - Clearance for 29x2.6" tires. GEOMETRY Drop bar off-road geometry designed to be nimble in the tight stuff and carry a load with stability and confidence. The generous stack, and longer wheelbase provide comfort and stability when riding all day or descending on loose terrain.

This is a frameset that can be ridden hard and put away wet. We use Tange tubing because it’s got a heritage of quality and a responsive feel. We know that the everyday cyclist needs a bike they can count on, day in and day out. From there we offered a bike that everyone could get behind: a solid platform for a multitude of fixed and single-speed builds. The beauty of the frame for us is that it keeps the track spirit, yet has never limited itself. The latest update is tweaked to fit fatter tires in case you want to try to track across. It also has an anti-rust coating on the interior of the tubes. If you choose to put brakes on, get the 57mm reach, not 49mm. We no longer have a 61cm size, but we have re-designed our smallest size with a sloping top tube to fit shorter riders. The original inspiration for the Wolverine was “Monster Cross”, but it is seriously so much more. Marrakesh is Salsa's world-touring bike, designed for fully loaded, rugged exploration. It’s stable and predictable when heavily loaded, and durable enough to take on everything from the Turkish dust to mud from Thailand’s monsoon season. Starting with a Marrakesh frameset and hand-selecting the components with the help of your friendly local bike shop is probably the best way for you to create a bike that's perfect for you. After all, when you're going to spend this many hours on a bike, you need it to be just right.
