Showbike for sale for a killer price of $6800!
The Earth Seed is a manifestation of our famed Earth Ship gravel racer with extra standover height and twin lateral top tubes. It is a pure performance race bike built with lightweight steel tubing, Paragon Machine Works frame parts, and is fillet brazed in our Minneapolis workshop. It was designed around our tapered steerer Waypoint fork which is among the lightest out there and tuned for compliance. Fast, comfortable, and stylish are the Earth Seed’s design goals.
You’ll find a full suite of features that include:
- Three pack mounts on top and bottom of downtube, bottle mount on top tube
- Fender mounts
- The frame is built around our own Waypoint fork which has three-pack mounts on each leg and internal dynamo and brake routing
- Clearance for 700 X 50c or 650b X 2.2" tires
GEOMETRY
Gravel race geo with all-day comfort and bump absorption at the forefront. The tall stack, a slightly lowered bottom bracket, and generous stays yield an unbelievably smooth ride and inspire confidence when descending fast over loose terrain. Fairly traditional head tube and seat tube angles keep everything quick and maneuverable.
TUBING
Columbus Life for the down and seat tubes, 4130 chromoly for the twin lateral top tubes and Columbus Zona stays. The dropouts, bottom bracket, braze-ons, and tapered headtube are from Paragon Machine Works.
FRAME SPEC
- Handbuilt in our Minneapolis workshop
- Wilde Waypoint Carbon Fork
- Includes handcrafted Jen Green headbadge
- Clearance for 700 x 50c or 650b x 2.2"

The Earth Ship exists to be the lightest, fastest, and most comfortable gravel bike on the market. It is the epitome of what we believe a modern drop bar bike can and should be.
This is our dream hand-crafted USA-made gravel race / all-road bike. It is light, nimble, capable, and most importantly comfortable for very long days in the saddle. As we’ve gotten less self-conscious and more independent-minded we’ve come to embrace taller stack heights as the future of endurance riding. One of our goals with the Earth Ship was to create a bike that looked as aesthetically pleasing as possible with high handlebars. When it comes to big days, we believe that “comfortable is fast!”
You’ll find a full suite of features that include:
- Three bottle mounts, top tube bag mount, and fender mounts.
- The frame is built around our own Waypoint fork which has three-pack mounts on each leg and internal dynamo and brake routing.
- For cable management, we’ve chosen to use Paragon’s modular system which allows the cleanest possible appearance and can be customized for AXS, 1X or a traditional two derailleur setup. We use full-round cable guides on the stays as we find plastic zip ties on high-end bikes to be an inelegant compromise.
- Clearance for 700 X 50c or 650b X 2.2" tires

The Rambler continues a fine tradition in cycling, the drop bar all-arounder. It's capable of gravel centuries, quick road loops, light touring, b-roads, and of course daily life. The Rambler is a fully modern adaptation of the genre with disc brakes, thru axles and generous tire clearance. The world is vast and so are the possibilities, the Rambler invites you to fully explore them all.
It has all the mounts a rider could want and geometry that is nimble while still being comfortable for long days in the saddle. As with all Wilde's we prefer bikes with higher stack heights, as our philosophy is that comfortable is fast.
Being a production bike, we are able to offer this promise at a more affordable price point through our partnership with Taiwan's legendary Maxway factory. It comes in five sizes and is paired with our segmented steel fork.
The steel fork does have a slightly longer axle to crown measurement than the Wayfinder which gives the bike a bit higher trail number and a slightly elevated bottom bracket height, both are bonuses when it comes to riding more challenging off-road terrain or pairing with 650b size wheels.
Speaking of 650b, the X-Small size was specifically designed for 650b's which we feel is a much more appropriate wheel standard for a frame of this size and allows us to design a smaller bike with with zero handling compromises or toe overlap. It also fits a tire up to 2.4".
Designers Notes
The Rambler continues a lineage that started with the Space Horse and Space Horse Disc. I believe that even if you have a different bike for every purpose, you’ll still want to have one bike that can truly do it all. The Rambler has all the relevant mounts and features, paired with contemporary gravel geometry and a comfortable high stack riding position, to take you wherever you want to go. My own Rambler is built with 650b wheels and a vintage eight speed triple drivetrain and I use it for long mixed terrain rides, touring, and quite often light singletrack in the Minnesota River Bottoms and local bootleg trails. It’s never let me down and seldom felt like the wrong choice. - Jeff

*This is a pre-book. It's going to take about eight months to fill the order. We'll be placing it at the end of August, so with shipping we should be delivering the frames early next Summer. We hope to do sizes sizes S,M,L,XL,XXL - We have to order 15 of each size and are not going to order XXL without some prebook commitments. So tall folks, jump on it if you’re interested because this is the only chance. We plan to make 75 or so frames total.*
The Spelljammer is one of those wish fulfillment bikes. We made it simply because it's a bike we all wanted in our stables and because we could. We took a bit of inspiration from Jeff's beloved classic canti Space Horse, the versatility of the iconic Cross Check, and current developments in gravel, to create our own interpretation of a classic randonneuring bike.
What is a randonneuring bicycle? There are a number of nebulous definitions floating around the internet and here is our take, which was the guiding principle for this project: It is a long distance machine. Meant to cover ground efficiently over a variety of road surfaces while carrying enough supplies to support the effort in all weather types.
Our interpretation is meant to be a modern take on the genre without being overly slavish to the historic form. Because of this it has some modern features like three pack mounts for choice in how you carry cargo, and a threadless headset, which we favor because of the ease of adjustment with just allen wrenches rather than having to carry a large headset wrench.
We wanted it to be of heirloom quality so it's got smooth filed fillets, just like we build in our Minneapolis workshop, but at less than half the price because they're built by a specialty brazing shop in Taiwan. We've been riding them since last Fall, and we've really come to be impressed by them, and hope you will too.
If it's a "modern take," why rim brakes?
All of our production bikes are tested to the most stringent ISO standards for their category. In order to pass testing, a disc brake bike requires thicker (heavier) fork legs and chainstays than a rim brake bike. By utilizing rim brakes we are able to use lighter tubes for a more compliant and smoother ride. Plus, we already have several worthy disc brake bikes in our lineup, and we do love the classic aesthetics of a good rim brake bicycle.
Why is this only a one-run bike?
On the island of Taiwan there is literally only one person left in the trade who does the kind of delicate filing required for these large fillets to look good. They are getting up there in age and are semi-retired at this point. They've also gotten really into farming and are now only working around their harvest / planting schedule. They've agreed to do one last batch, which is why we have to make this happen now. And can't do it again.
Why is it $1600 for a rim brake frameset?
It's expensive because it's expensive to make. The amount of fine hand work involved in these things is ridiculous. In our own workshop, our frame builder, Brad, spends as much time filing fillets as he does in the actual frame construction. There's a reason big hand-filed fillets are a dying art form, because it's extremely labor intensive and thus expensive. If you see the value in it, cool. If you don't, no worries.
In addition to the labor intensive nature of the frame construction, the fork adds considerable cost to the bike. To match the character of the frame, we didn't want to use any old off-the-shelf crown. Instead we contacted Pacenti and sought permission to use their gorgeous PBP fork crown. In our minds it's THE rando fork crown. The crowns aren't cheap, but they are ideal for this application.
And heck, with with way things are going tariffs will probably make them even more expensive by the time they get here, but by pre-booking your price is locked in.
What's so special about that dropout?
That dropout is a direct result of this bike's lineage. The Space Horse canti-version has become a bit of a cult-icon. They are terrifically reasonable, great handling and smooth riding bikes. They're the bike that really launched All-City to a wider audience and were a huge milestone in Jeff's career in the bike industry. Our friend Anna Schwinn designed this dropout when they both worked at All-City together, and we've always felt it was an inspired design. It keeps all the good things about a semi-horizontal dropout: single speed capability, the ability to adjust wheelbase length, compatibility with fenders, etc, but adds a little nubbin at the front that allows it to function more like a vertical dropout when running with a QR. That nubbin perfectly orients the hanger with the axle, and you won't pull the wheel out when using lightweight axles and skewers when you're putting down the power.

Steel Commuter and Gravel Bike
Preamble is a hard-boiled steel commuter built for comfort, durability, and buffoonery on pavement and gravel.
Nothing More is Needed. Nothing Less Will Do.
The challenge was thus: Build a serious steel bike and give it only the attributes that matter most. Make it quick and comfortable on pavement, as well as confident and compliant on degraded surfaces. What the Enginerds put forth is Preamble, a pavement and gravel utility worker that proves you don't need to cut corners or clip coupons to make a more affordable steel bike. You just need to keep shit simple.
Preamble can run racks and fenders and carry a couple water bottles. Surly was raised on stealing basic cable, after all. Smooth and efficient on asphalt, Preamble's double-butted main triangle provides a resplendent ride feel and withstands abuse from life's inevitable potholes. Make it your own with flat bars, drop bars, a basket, or bags. On the road to steel euphoria, Preamble is the gateway drug.
Let facts be submitted to a candid world:
- Offered in flat-bar and drop-bar configurations
- Easy T-Shirt sizing to fit nearly every rider (XS, S, M, L, XL)
- Sloping top tubes on XS and Small frames for improved standover and comfort
- To offer the best rider experience for every frame size, XS and S frames get 650b wheelsets while M–XL get 700c
- Custom-cast single-position vertical dropout
$1,099.00
Designed to introduce unfamiliar riders to Surly’s pavement and gravel line, Preamble highlights Surly’s most essential features: Durable custom steel tubing, a renowned ride feel, and just the right mounts for running racks, fenders, and bottle cages. Available in flat-bar and drop-bar configurations, it’s disc-brake specific and shares a single-position vertical dropout with Surly Bridge Club. For new weekend riders and veteran commuters, Preamble makes it easier than ever to get out of the car and on top of tough and comfortable Chromoly steel.

Born on Gravel. Raised on Pavement
Straggler is tuned for cross-over exploration on a wide variety of terrain conditions. It's a day-tripper and a weekender. Straggler's capabilities go well beyond asphalt. It also lends itself well to light touring setups. We're talking frame bags, seat bags, and "credit card touring" rather than full-blown touring. Straggler also handles our 8- and 24-Pack Racks well, so you have some heavier-duty loading options.

The Waheela C is a carbon-framed drop bar bike with an adjustable geometry, unrivaled ride quality, and enormous tire clearance for 700c x 54mm, 650b x 54mm, or 29" x 2.1" tires. It has extra frame and fork mounting points for bottles and racks, easily accessible internal cable routing options, compatibility for 1x or 2x electronic or mechanical drivetrains, and the ability to run a dropper post. No matter the road ahead (or under tire), the Waheela C is ready.
GIANT TIRE CLEARANCE
Gravel comes in all shapes and sizes, from the packed limestone of Southeast Minnesota to the chunky roads of the Flint Hills of Kansas. The Waheela C is equipped with tire clearance to handle the terrrain of your next race. Where most gravel bikes can fit 650b x 50mm but only 40mm with bigger wheels, the Waheela C keeps on rolling, with space for 700c x 54mm tires. It'll run 700c x 35mm when the roads are tacky and tidy, 700c x 42mm when there's a bit more uncertainty, 700c x 54mm when the gravel road turns to ATV trails, and anything in between. The Waheela C can also fit 29" x 2.1", 27.5" x 2.1", or 650b x 54mm if 700c isn't really your thing. In short, the Waheela C is ready for the road ahead.
ADJUSTABLE GEOMETRY
Like all Otso bikes, the Waheela C sports our patented Tuning Chip rear dropout system, which allows you to change the length of your wheelbase and height of your bottom bracket. Put the Tuning Chip in the back position to get the stability and comfort of a longer wheelbase for a full day of riding gravel. Switch to the front position to get the agile handling and responsiveness required by your next CX race. And the middle position? That's the best of both worlds. The adjustable geometry of the Waheela C allows you to ride any road or any trail without needing to switch bikes.
UNRIVALED RIDE QUALITY
Our proprietary Waheela geometry was developed by our engineers for stability, confidence, and comfort on rough terrain. Where many gravel bikes put extra weight on the front wheel, the Waheela C centers the rider over both wheels. This makes for a more stable ride while allowing the compliant rear triangle to come into play and absorb the bumps of a gravel road. Meanwhile, the lightweight EPS molded carbon frame adds responsiveness and readiness for a sprint up that next hill. After a long day on the saddle, you'll find yourself adding a healthy amount of miles to tomorrow's ride.
EXTRA MOUNTING POINTS
Waheela C features fork bottle bosses, extra down tube mounting points (6 total), as well as top tube gas tank mounting points. Numerous braze-ons allow Waheela C to accommodate water bottles, fenders, racks, frame bags, and more.
DETAILS THAT MATTER
Internal brake and shifter routing with sleeves, carbon access door under bottom bracket for easier routing, front and rear thru-axle, and threaded bottom bracket for reliable, easy service. This also allows you to run that dropper post you've been dreaming about.
COMPATIBLE WITH 1X OR 2X
Waheela C is 1x and 2x compatible with mechanical and electronic drivetrains. It's also fully compatible with both Shimano Di2 and SRAM eTap AXS, in case you don't want to take advantage of internal routing options.
QUALITY ASSURED
Designed by the Otso engineering team, Waheela C frames are manufactured in one of the premiere carbon fiber factories in Taiwan and come with a 5 year limited warranty. All bikes are inspected and assembled at our headquarters in Minneapolis, MN USA.
