The M30 is part of our 30mm spindle line of cranks which also includes the A30, R30 and G30 models. The “M” stands for mountain and the “30” is for the 30mm spindle. The best way to describe this model is, “It’s a mountain bike crank”. Simple. Note: Spindle, crank bolts, extractors, adjusting collar, and chairing lockring included. Chainrings and bottom bracket sold separately. Features: - Black anodized - Extractor caps : black - Length: 170mm Compatible with: - White Industries chainrings: TSR 1X/singlespeed. 8/9/10/11/12 and 12 flat-top chains. Shimano 12 speed chains must use a SRAM Eagle 12-speed PowerLock connector. - TSR Boost 1X/singlespeed: 8/9/10/11/12 and 12 flat-top chains. Shimano 12 speed chains must use a SRAM Eagle 12-speed PowerLock connector - VBC 2X: 9/10/11 speed chains and derailleurs (12 speed are too narrow). Campy and SRAM derailleurs not recommended. Shimano mountain 9/10/11 speed derailleurs are best with these rings on this crank. - Also compatible with Wolf Tooth “CAMO Direct Mount Spider For White Industries” - 5 different White Industries 30mm bottom bracket options - All 30mm cranks and spindles are made from U.S. sourced 2024-T365 aluminum Specs: - Designed around a 96mm OBW (Outer Bearing Width). This is the allowable outside-to-outside measurement of your BB bearings (with seals) when they are mounted to your frame. The bearing preload collar on the crank is adjustable and can accommodate slightly wider or narrower widths (+/- 1mm) than the target number. - Designed to fit 68mm/73mm or 86mm/92mm bottom bracket shells. 2x 2.5mm cup or spindle spacers needed on 68mm or 86mm shells. Just in case you bugger up your current extractor caps or simply want to change colors, we offer replacement sets (with bolts) for both our square taper cranks (ENO/VBC) and MR30 cranks. - Sets include 2 caps, 2 bolts, 4 washers - One washer goes between the bolt and crank arm - One washer goes between the bolt and extractor cap Tool: - Park SPA-2 pin spanner with .090”/2.3mm pins (This is the red one)
