The Jemmy Bar was designed with a few goals in mind: First, we wanted a flat bar geared more toward everyday riding than the Oyster Bar, that didn't sacrifice too much control. Second, we wanted plenty of room between the stem and outer grip section of the bar for straps, accessories, alternate hand positions, you name it. Finally we wanted it to look & feel at home on most ATB's of the 80's and 90's (we recommend a shorter, sub 90mm stem if this is your bike) as well as modern tourers designed around shorter stems and wider bars. With that in mind, the Jemmy Bar was born. It's been tested on everything from Karla & Daniel's touring bikes to our own commuters here in the PNW - If you want a truly versatile bar that is equally at home on a fat tired town bike as it is a modern tourer, This one's for you!
