What if we told you that we took HED’s Big Deal wheels and went bigger? With the same 85mm wide, handmade carbon rim, we expanded the wheel size of the Big Deal to 27.5" – smack-dab-HALF-way between a 26" and 29" wheel. The Result, HED’s Big Half Deal wheels, the performance wheel of choice for those who want to fat bike and want to fat bike fast.

Like the Big Deal, Big Half Deal wheels utilize Inflatobam, HED’s patented tubeless technology for installing fat bike tires. The twin channel rim design provides a better pre-inflation seal by trapping each tire bead against the rim, drastically reducing the amount of air it takes to get the beads to “bam” into place.

Utilizing a ribbed, single-wall design to maximize stiffness and minimize rotational weight. This all comes with a tubeless compatible tire bed that does not require rim tape. You read that right, no rim tape is required for tubeless set up.

Our interior surfacing and tight tolerances ensure no tire burp or slip. Also note that tire levers should not be used with these rims. Our rim shape does not require tire levers to remove and install tires, and any damage done to the wheel with tire levers will void the HED warranty.
