Silca HX-THREE Hex Set

A hex set that boast the same 9-step heat-treated S2 tool steel and exceedingly tight tolerances of HX-ONE and HX-TWO, with full engagement geometry on both ends of the tool.

Why We Designed It:

Few tools are used as frequently, and can cause as much heartache or wasted time as the seemingly simple hex key. It’s one of the first things you notice at the top levels of motorsport tools, or in the toolboxes of Pro-Tour mechanics: extremely high quality hex keys. The reasoning is simple, better tool fit leads to better feel and confidence for the mechanic as well as a significant reduction in the likelihood of damaging exotic fasteners made from Titanium or Aluminum.

What makes HX-3 Unique in our lineup is that they do not have ball ends on the long end of the tool. Many pro mechanics and shops will keep sets of hex keys with the ball ends ground or cut from the tools to allow for increased torque ability when using the long end of the tool.
