Forager Cycles Jemmy Bar

The Jemmy Bar was designed with a few goals in mind: First, we wanted a flat bar geared more toward everyday riding than the Oyster Bar, that didn't sacrifice too much control. Second, we wanted plenty of room between the stem and outer grip section of the bar for straps, accessories, alternate hand positions, you name it. Finally we wanted it to look & feel at home on most ATB's of the 80's and 90's (we recommend a shorter, sub 90mm stem if this is your bike) as well as modern tourers designed around shorter stems and wider bars.

With that in mind, the Jemmy Bar was born. It's been tested on everything from Karla & Daniel's touring bikes to our own commuters here in the PNW - If you want a truly versatile bar that is equally at home on a fat tired town bike as it is a modern tourer, This one's for you!

The Jemmy bar is:

- Full 4130 steel tubing, 22.2mm stem clamp diameter (add shims here if needed).
- 850mm wide (uncut), 27 degrees of backsweep, 35mm rise, and 6 degrees of upsweep.
- 595g, uncut
- Able to be cut to about 740mm while retaining a 185mm grip area.
- Made by us in Port Townsend, WA and powder coated by our friends at Stunt Doubles Color.

- Not for 'downhill' use. Jumps and bumps under 2 ft. are one thing, rocketing down a mountain another.
